A little more about me

My work centers on partnership with educators and institutions to create a more just, peaceful world through the transformative power of education. Most recently, I played a role in equipping primary educators across the African continent with the tools to implement global citizenship education in their classrooms, and improving relationships between US and Russian youth through cross-cultural exchange. Some of my latest clients include UNESCO, Panorama Education, IREX, the National Leadership Institute, and Participant Media.

I have served as a facilitator and instructional designer for some of the world's largest nonprofits, children's hospitals, labor unions, school systems, and professional associations, as well as activists around the globe. Leveraging experiential learning methodologies, my capacity building and training programs have helped win elections, launch multinational change initiatives, and embed evidence-based strategies across organizations.

I studied at Teachers College, Columbia University, and earned a Master’s degree in International Educational Development with a focus on Peace and Human Rights Education. I also graduated summa cum laude from Chapman University's Peace Studies, Integrated Educational Studies, and Honors Programs; and received the University's highest honor for an undergraduate student, the Cheverton Award.
